Our kids martials arts program (Junior Jiu Jitsu) is open to boys and girls from 4 to 13 years of age. Classes are separated according to children’s age, size and ability. Teenagers are encouraged to train in the adults classes.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has gained popularity as the martial art for children due to its non-violent nature. Students are taught grappling techniques without punches and kicks in a safe and enjoyable manner. Because you always need a partner to train, Jiu Jitsu also teaches children how to respect and interact with others, and how to cooperate with peers to achieve a common goal.
To gain the most benefit from their training, we encourage students to attend at least 2-3 times per week. We offer Junior Jiu Jitsu classes for all ages and levels 4 days a week. Competitions are held regularly for students to compete against others their age and ability at both state and national level.
In line with our aim to make martial arts accessible to all children, our Junior Jiu Jitsu program is affordable and family packages are available for combined adults and children’s memberships.
Potential students are encouraged to attend a complimentary trial lesson to assess their level and discuss their membership with an instructor.
